To my delight the owners focused on renovating the interior first and appear to be working on the exterior (although no active work was in progress while we were there). "We had two issues with this hotel stay. One is that the Expedia title for the property is ”Stay in National Park Village”. The property is actually 3 km away from National Park Village on a Main road with a lot of traffic. If you rent the top room with the balcony you overlook this busy road. It was not as peaceful as expected. National Park Village is a misnomer also as it is not in the park but at the access point to enter the park. It’s a further 14 minute drive to get to the parks visitor center from “National Park Village” Aside from the misunderstanding about the location the bed we had was so firm as to be uncomfortable, the shower in the room was very small. The continental breakfast was a positive."
