Had an average stay here. Stylistically this place is cute. But the rooms are really cramped and the bathroom very small. It’s basic size so it is what it is. Location wise it’s nice, ten minute drive to town but nothing else around. Would not recommend getting the breakfast as the quality wasn’t great. And was expensive for just bread/croissant and granola/nuts/yogurt. Found a long curly hair in my yogurt after I took a bite. Didn’t get comped. Offered me another yogurt but I was so grossed out and didn’t want another one. Overall the stay was fine but just don’t expect much but the basics and not a lot of room to navigate. Stayed here 3 nights.

We could not recommend this hotel enough. It’s located just outside of Cassis, backing onto the national park. The setting beautiful and private, the grounds are beautifully kept with lovely seating areas and access to the hiking trails. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well decorated. The restaurant on site makes incredible food, we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The staff are lovely and clearly care very much about their hotel. We also appreciated the environmental efforts in place.

This is such a great location if you want to hike and the national park. It is also convenient enough to the downtown where you can enjoy a boat ride from the port as well. The team was so friendly and kind to us. We only stayed one night, but will definitely stay longer if we wanted to come back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The location is perfect, a short drive from centre-Cassis and right in the park. The dinner was one of our favourites we had in France. The room and washroom are a tad snug but very comfortable.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The rooms were comfortable with a lovely patio outside. There is an option for dinner at the hotel. We were able to hike straight into the Calanques from the back of the hotel. We loved the quiet location and Cassis is a wonderful place to spend a couple of days.

A Hidden Gem
We had a perfect stay.. Our family room was lovely and cool, the restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner and the small team could not have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommended!!

Beautiful little place in the middle of a natural park. Place is new and clean and bed extremely comfortable. Our room was very small otherwise this place is awesome.

Beautiful, rustic outdoor ambiance. Excellent multilingual front desk staff. Room was tiny but clean and comfortable with good amenities. Good restaurant, dinner requires reservation. Reliable wi-fi. Free parking. Area seemed safe and secure. Also listed as Hôtel du Joli Bois on some maps when trying to pinpoint location.

Cute hotel a few minutes drive from Cassis
The couple who run the hotel were extremely friendly and helped answer all my questions about hiking in the calanques despite my very limited French. Breakfast was incredibly pleasant on the terrace overlooking the gardens. The rooms are quite dated, so don't expect luxury... that said, this was the most affordable option near cassis. The hotel is too far to walk to cassis. But it is very peaceful of a night.

Cute country hotel!
Cute little country place! If your not into big chain hotels and you just want a clean place to stay, this is it. Literally 10-12 minutes from Cassis. We arrived early and they let us get our room anyways. Cute couple who are very accommodating! Family of 5 fit perfectly in the room!

Esperava outro tipo de hotel. O hotel fica bem longe da cidade e não tem nenhum restaurante ou supermercado perto . Também o que é ruim que precisa reservar o café da manhã. Não tem serviço de quarto e por ser longe , ficamos sem opção . O café servido é cobrado eur 12,00 por pessoa e é razoável . O jardim da parte de trás do hotel está bem mau cuidado. Precisa de manutenção. Quando chegamos , ao lado do vaso sanitário tinha um Cheiro bem desagradável. Para quem gosta de tranquilidade , é um ambiente bem calmo e bom para relaxar . As camas são bem confortáveis .

Hébergement parfait pour la tranquillité. Nous avons apprécié prendre l’apéro sur notre terrasse privée. Petit déjeuner correct. Superbe communication par e-mail avec un membre de l’hôtel. Point à améliorer: nous avons eu deux petites serviettes pour nos deux nuits. Quand j’ai demandé une 3e serviette pour mes cheveux, ils m’ont dit que ce n’était pas possible. Au début, je croyais qu’ils blaguaient. Mais non!!!! J’ai utilisé ma serviette de plage non-propre pour m’essuyer. J’ai juste trouvé ça ordinaire.

L’établissement est très propre, la décoration soignée voire précieuse. Malheureusement, tout est minimaliste : la chambre, la douche, le petit-déjeuner insignifiant et cher. Même la lumière est distillée avec avarice car il n’y a pas de fenêtre dans la chambre. Pour, une nuit, ça peut aller…

merci pour votre avis sur ce site, nous sommes ravi que l’établissement vous ait plu ainsi que la décoration de celui-ci.malheureusement, vous avez réservé à la dernière minute, sans vraiment regarder ce que vous réserviez, vous étiez surpris que notre hôtel ne soit pas au centre de Cassis, pour la lumière, il n'a pas d'avarice, il suffit juste d'appuyer sur l’interrupteur à l'entrée de la chambre, pas de fenêtre mais une porte fenêtre, vous êtes arrivés de nuit... malheureusement le soleil était déjà couché.très surpris de votre avis sur le petit déjeuner, c'est un buffet continental, céréales, amandes, graines, confitures artisanales, jus de fruits, orange et pommes bio, toutes les boissons chaudes, thés, infusions, café, chocolat, pain croissant de notre boulanger, yaourt maison etc... la prochaine fois que vous reservez, donnez vous les moyens.

Départ de randonnées sur les calanques au pied de l'hôtel. Acceuil excellent service irréprochable Panniers repas pour les randonneurs sur place. Tres bonne carte des vins de la region. Diner du soir copieux bon rapport qualité prix Cadre agréable on peut y aller en toute confiance
