"The staff at the Chancellor were super friendly! Our room was always clean after we’d come back after a day of adventure. Housekeeping made it special for our daughter by keeping her stuffed toys safe as well. I would definitely recommend the Chancellor to friends and family based on the staffs friendliness and how convenient the hotel was for everything we wanted to do. Walking distance was perfect for the cable car, the cable car even stopped right outside our hotel. Perfect location and great hotel if you love the historic building vibes. Would definitely come back!"
"A historical hotel, it was my first time being here, and enjoyed the status of it. They were doing renovations and construction, but were mindful of quiet hours. I appreciate that they are maintaining it to keep it as a nice resort. I would stay here again if there were more deals and value available. "
"The property is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Access to area with fire pits, activities and a bar is excellent. Please consider leaving fires in past 10pm if people are still outside. Close walking distance to tourist destinations made it easy to get to bus tours, bike rental and ferries. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again. "
