"We truly enjoyed this resort,and would book again (in the winter). The Expedia check in was AMAZING, we showed up to a lobby jam packed but very happy when we found out that we had a separate check in because we booked with Expedia. Our beautiful clean room had the best air-conditioning I have EVER felt in my life. The fact that the kids pool was completely separate from the adult pool was perfect for my husband and I as this is where we spent 90% of our time. Loved the infinity pool, it was like we were on the beach without actually being on the beach. The buffet food was "acceptable" no thrills, no over the top...just good. We did take advantage of the specialty dinners that were VERY GOOD. However booking the dinners, was not without it's challenges. Thanks to the helpful staff, we were finally able to figure it out. The sky bar was really nice and the staff were very attentive.
Here are the drawbacks to this all inclusive resort: My husband and i are early risers, we enjoy having our coffee at 0500. Although a coffee kit is provided in your room, no creamer is available. The resort has a coffee shop but they do not open until 0700. The pool and the pool bar close early, the only other bar is in the lobby with only 1 bartender, and the sky bar (adults only). The mixed drinks consistently tasted off. I'm unsure if it's the mix or it's a cheap version of the alcohol, but for that reason we only drank beer the entire 8 days we were there."
