Top Margate Hotel Reviews

Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel
8/10 Good
"A good hotel, currently under going a refurbishment which is most needed as its dated. Only problem for us was the pillows they was on the hard side."

The Falstaff Hotel
8/10 Good
"A great location for ease of walking around the city. Very quirky building and parking was great at the back. B’fast was a good choice and served well. My only word of caution is that the rooms are supremely hot in this weather and if you are at the front then traffic noise is tremendous. Fans provided but circulated hot air. Lovely bed and pillows. Room on the small side but ok for us as only one night."

Holiday Inn Dover by IHG

"We zijn er 1 nacht geweest inclusief diner en ontbijt Kamer was goed en eten ook"

Old Town House by Ezestays
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were very attentive to us and it was great to have communication if we needed help! Fantastic location just steps to everything one might want to explore in Margate! It’s our second stay there and we plan to return when we come back to Margate."

Fort Road Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A delightful hotel finished to a very high standard. The building remained unused unil the owener, Thanet Borough Council, auctioned it. A total refurbishment (except for the 2 fireplaces in the bar/restaurant left as an example) has provided a very high standard of rooms and facilities. The staff are very proud of their hotel and this shows throughout. Having paid more the previous night to stay in a poorly maintained hotel from the same era, it was a relief to stay here. Ideally located on the end of 'the strip' retaurants were only less than 10 minutes away. We use the Buoy and Oyster and had a pleasant evening and good food. Parking maybe an issue, but if you drive into and past the Turner Contmporary, through the pay car park, you will eventually reach a section of foreshore road which is available for parking, but popular. The walking siatance up the exit road is about the same as walking back past the Turner. If you fail to find a spot, then you can always park in the pay Turner car aprk, but after the visitors have left, and you are going out, then move your car and save the majority of the fee."

Canterbury Bell, Margate by Marston's Inns
10/10 Excellent
"Quick and easy check in, helpful staff. Nice clean room. Bus stop 3 mins away so easy to go into Margate."

Hampton by Hilton Canterbury
10/10 Excellent
"Modern property, clean, and extremely convenient for access to Central Canterbury. Staff were particularly helpful and professional, 24 hour bar with some food. Excellent breakfast. Parking is located a 5 minute walk away as the hotel is a pedestrian area. Good local restaurants and tea shops are a short walk."

San Clu Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Had a great stay. Although the hotel was full, there was no noise or unsocial behaviour. Would recommend a stay."

Holiday Inn Express Canterbury by IHG
