"Clean room. Excellent staff, friendly and helpful Air conditioning was good. Parking available. Roast dinner in the pub was perfect. A fridge and some herbal teas in the room would’ve been nice 😊"
"Great location and staff. Spacious room but pretty scruffy. I’d stayed in an Abode (Exeter?) years ago and it was a real treat, absolutely lovely. But sadly this felt quite run down. The decor was really naff in the room and bar. 3 star maybe, but definitely not 4. If I stayed again, I’d go for a better room. It could be so nice, really hope it gets the refresh it deserves."

"Well located hotel overlooking the sea. Worth the extra for a sea facing room, and I was upgraded to a balcony room. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice, although could have been offered later, I felt. It ended at 10am."
"We had a great stay here, it’s excellent value for money. Jim was a fantastic, friendly host. The breakfasts were nice, though we could have done with better vege options. The location is convenient, including proximity to bus routes and trains for exploring the area. Overall we would happily go back!"
