"This is more like a nice hostel. It was clean and quite spacious given typical European sizes, but my room had a dorm vibe. It felt like student accommodation, but it was fine and cheaper than other places. Had air-conditioning too which was great. Just not at all fancy."

"Wow!! What can I say? What a beautiful charming B&B. I have to admit, I was curious/concerned about such an old facility but given the recent renovation/remodel, job well done. Everything has been updated, (fixtures, windows, etc). The owner is extremely welcoming and accomodating. Not a day goes by, now that we're home, that we miss waking up at Le Clocher de la Duchesse. "Room was good, we went with a dog and had good space overall. The bathroom was a little small but had all we need even a bath tube. Breakfast had all we need, I could wish me oat milk but they had coffee out of a machine. Crossaints was great as usual in France. Sufficient parking was on site. Close to the hotel is a commercial center."

"We stayed at this amazing hotel for 2 nights. The grounds are breathtaking and really fun to explore. We felt like royalty!! The staff is incredibly nice, helpful, & accommodating. All of our meals were delicious. Though the rooms are not air conditioned & get pretty warm during the day (mid-July), the nights cool off very nicely and we had no trouble sleeping. We highly recommend this hotel."
