Location is good. It is located beside World Square mall so there’s plenty of food options and Coles supermarket in the mall. Can walk to Musuem Station, Town Hall Station and Chinatown. But this is an old hotel so the rooms are outdated and quite basic. The hotel does not provide toothbrush/paste, bedroom slippers, bathrobe. We were given room 13xx and the room was facing the road. 13xx is actually on the 4th floor of the hotel (not 13th floor) and we could hear very clearly traffic noises and people talking/laughing when they crossed the road. We couldn't sleep and asked to change to a higher-floor room the next morning, and we were given 19xx (9th floor of the building). Higher-floor room was much better; minimal noise and we slept well.

Can see small flies in 1 of the toilet rooms during the 4-night stay. The 'Go Green' initiatives are misleading and confusing as different staffs gave different information during the stay whereby we have made several calls to clarify during the stay. According to one of your staff, opting out of housekeeping services would earn us $30 credits per room for the 4-night stay. With three rooms booked, $90 is accumulated in credits. I confirmed with your staff that basic services like towel refresh and trash emptying wouldn't affect our eligibility for the credits. However, upon checkout, only a $10 credit deduction on a $55 bill was provided, with the remaining $45 charged to my card.
