The lobby looks completely clean and was impressed with the quality of the personnel staffing the desk. Jerome was a very good night manager and then changed the days while I was there but he took charge of trying to keep everything in check so far as my reservation was concerned. I was very disappointed in the first room we went to it was not anything I expected when you order something like a queen sweet supposed to be premier and it was not it was anything but a sweet and the bathroom you could almost step into the toilet from the shower. So there are many other things I won't go into detail but I would not be staying at the Valero again if I came back to PI. They tried to make it right and the finishing touch was a roach crawling around the microwave oven in the room we had that was it that was out of there. Went to another hotel had nothing but praise for that one and cost about just the same per night. And I'll be doing review on that hotel on the Google maps and the website for the hotel itself. I would suggest somebody look somewhere else for a room and not the at the Valero. The street noise is tremendous I got very little sleep the time I was there.

My fiancé and I had a great experience at the hotel from March 3, 2023 to March 11, 2023. We loved the room assigned to us. The housekeeping service was excellent. The staff are professional and efficient. We loved using the gym snd the pool. We will definitely be back next year.

Nice hotel, solid hard beds!
Lovely hotel, nice staff and a decent room. Makati is a great area to stay in Manila and the hotel is in a good location. However, the bed was the hardest bed we've ever slept in. It was like sleeping straight onto a slab of wood, impossible to get comfortable. We asked for extra duvets to put on top of the bed which helped ever so slightly for the second night still terrible. It was also fairly noisy.
