In the busy area of Makati and Burgos areas that have a lot of nightlife and new restaurants opening up now after covid. The hotel has a spa and pool along with roof top bar that are all pretty nice for the area. This a very reasonable, clean, upscale local hotel as opposed to the larger corporate hotels that are much more expensive. I have stayed here often and it's very consistent.

It has all of the amenities and a beautiful rooftop bar. You are in downtown Makati so you are in the hub of everything. It's a very busy area with tons of traffic. But on the plus side, you're close to poblacion which has a lot of amazing restaurants and bars.

The building is newer and in good condition. Location is good. Room was good except air conditioning. Parking was good. Food served at restaurants in hotel was disappointing. Other hotels in the area serve better food at lower price. Breakfast was very disappointing. The food was cold and limited options for the price. Other hotels in the area have much better breakfast. AC in room seemed to go offline or programmed to higher temperature at night. Every night we woke up to uncomfortable temperature with no ability to adjust the temperature.

All the staff were courteous. The room I got was spacious & very comfortable. Loved the spa. The food at the only restaurant they have inside the hotel have limited choices and not worth the price you pay in my opinion. A reasonable price tasty breakfast buffet would be really nice to add.

The Onsen was what draw me to book for this hotel. This is my second stay; however, it was a terrible experience altogether. 1) Staff were friendly be inattentive, they don't listen properly. They will ask, or even ask a second time and still make mistake - example: choice of eggs for bfast. Ask twice and still give me wrong type of eggs. This happens twice to me and once with my colleague in another room. 2) Super long wait for bfast (more than 30mins) of 3 mornings! 3) Lights in the room is terrible, can't even read or do my work. 4) Cleanliness of bathroom can be better, the same stains/ marks can be seen clearly for the entire 4 days. 5) Wifi is terrible, especially in the evening. Cannot do work at all.

The hotel is nice, but the pool area is pretty sad without Mermaid Bar. The restaurant food is not great. Its overpriced and the service is slow. Too many staff but not much attention to customers and they looked lost by the kitchen area. The rooftop bar sucks too. Overpriced and discriminative when we were actually guest of the hotel. We won't stay there again and won't recommend to anyone. City Garden Grand across the street is much better!
