Retail park nearby with some fast food options. Walkable but better options are further out closer to town. Great place to stay for access to the Etihad or Coop Live arena (assuming you have a car).
Breakfast had plenty of options but if they bacon/eggs have been sat there a while then they go rubbery so not good!
Place was very bright and staff welcoming. Sport available on the big screen with pool table available. Free drink if you skip room cleaning which was a nice touch.
New, well presented, efficiently run hotel within a couple miles of city centre. Includes a good sized car park offered at a subsidised rate for residents plus a good range of bar snacks and breakfast
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, rooms modern & clean, beds very comfy, location ideal for attending AO Arena taxi £6-8, parking available at the hotel for £5, tea/coffee available 24/7 in dining room, prices for drinks food is very good value. Would definitely recommend & stay here again.

This was a lovely stay. Everyone who worked there was very nice, the breakfast was excellent, hotel itself was clean and in great shape. All in all, I’d gladly stay there again. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately when we arrived at 5pm we were told that there was no house keeping available and that the room we had booked for 2 adults and 1 child only had a double bed. We were told that we should have pre booked the extra bed and that nobody on site was able to bring one to the room and no other rooms for three were available.
We had no other choice but to all squeeze in the one bed. The only alternative was a refund and find somewhere else to stay.
I don’t think this hotel is really child friendly, all they needed to do was look at the booking and make sure the correct number of beds were provided. Being told we should have booked the extra bed is something I’ve never had to do in any other hotel, and them not being able to setup an extra bed because house keeping wasn’t there is no excuse. Not sure if this was an error on Expedia or the hotels fault, either way they should have been accommodating, the staff were unapologetic. That said the hotel was nice and clean and we had a good stay.

Plenty of parking and if you book direct don’t have to pay £5
Shops around the area to eat and bar at the hotel for a drink
All in all good value and I stay here often and will continue to do so

Good value for money. Property is clean, lobby is nice, breakfast is okay, free coffee 24h, staff is helpful.
Room is a bit small but fits the purpose, bathroom is nice and clean.

We asked for put u up bed in room for child not there when asked they said there were none left. The night manager did come round to apologise but meant had to share a bed with a 3 year old not much room !!

The property was very clean and the room was of a really good standard. Only criticisms are not having enough plug points and not having coffee/tea facilities in the room (although there is facilities in the lobby), it’s nicer to have them in the comfort of your room. Would stay again :)

Too basi for my needs. I didn't expect to pay what I did and still have to go downstairs to get a cup of tea. Usually you would at least have tea/coffee and some cups in the room.

Adedotun,We have 24/7 tea and coffee in the lounge and lobby of the hotel, we have cups in the bathrooms in sealed hygienic bags and cups, crockery and glass ware in the lounge to use as you wish. I am sorry you found the hotel too basic for your needs.

The breakfast was of poor choice. Not much hot food and no fresh fruit only canned and frozen. Bread was of poor choice too. Overall not value for money.
The room clean and good. However, heating system not good. Quite cold. Even knowing the timer did not help.

So i was told expedia dont take account of extra child and therefore a extra bed is not provided. Apparently it happens all the time with expedia but the hotel have done nothing to address this issue. Staff did not accomadate us even though we had a child. Not great. Also tea/coffee only available downstairs which is not convenient.

Mohammed,You booked a standard room for two adults and a child, you arrived with two adults and two children. We could not add an extra bed into a standard room.You refused to pay for a room that could accommodate an extra bed. We would only charge you an extra 25.00 for a superior room and an extra bed as a compromise to the issue.We accommodated the booking that you made via Expedia. We do not have tea and coffee in the rooms, this is our brand standard, we do have unlimited tea and freshly ground coffee 24/7 in our lounge and bar area. Poor review and not the fault of the hotel that you booked for the wrong number of persons, wrong size of room and not at the time of booking for asked for an extra bed.

We love our breakfast, other reviews do not agree with your assessment. Perhaps you could expand on wat was terrible for you?
I enjoyed my stay and I’ve been here a couple of times now. The only thing I didn’t like , is that I have to pay for parking which was never like that before, it can be quiet annoying as the hotel is already quite pricey.

My only issue was that our room was never cleaned and I had to ask for fresh towels. However the staff where friendly and helpful.

Worst experience ever. This hotel is so discriminative against certain members of the public like the less privilege to maintain their prestige. Turn away the family I booked the hotel for just because it was booked by the council as their policy says they would not accept any family form the council. I find this really oppressive to members of the public needing a safe place to stay at night.
The booking was completed but on Expedia but when the family attended they were turned down at the reception because the hotel was booked by the council.
In addition the manager was very rude and dismiss to the needs of the family and very rude in asking the family out of the hotel. I think the hotel practice was quite oppressive and will not recommend at all.

This is a total fabrication of a review and has not been made by the family in crisis that was sent to the hotel.This review was posted by the social worker, name we have held for privacy. The council have tried to book persons in crisis, with mental issues, into the hotel with no contact details, leaving the vulnerable with no support while young staff on reception desk and in housekeeping are left to try and help these people with no support when they are not trained to do so. The social workers are not risk assessing the situation, they are not assessing the hotels workers vulnerability to persons they are housing and they are not taking responsibility for the damage that some, not all, persons have made in recent week to the hotels bedroom due to the persons they are housing have no ability to look after themselves.I have make an official complaint to social services Manchester and they are conducting an investigation into this matter and the actions of the social worker that has posted this review.
