The staff on reception were very helpful indeed, they helped with providing a European plug adaptor. They also recommended a very good place for an evening meal, The Schnitzel Mitte. Which you wouldn't just happen upon, but was easily found with Google maps."

"There was not a single thing I could find fault with this hotel. Immaculate decor everywhere with high end fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel and its rooms. Only a very short walk to the U-bahn and other trains made it a fantastic place to have as a base to get around Berlin. Definitely recommend this place!"

"There is no registration desk, no well-informed staff to help travelers. Check-in is contact-free - at a computer kiosk. You have to enter your passport number etc, then process a card (from a stack of cards by the kiosk) to get your key card. A long process if you are jet lagged. The room was clean and small, but dark with a lot of black including black drapes, furniture, lampshades. Too dark for me. The best thing is location close to main train station. Breakfast appeard to be overpriced - we ate at the train station."
