My Partner suffers with certain allergies. We appreciated that this hotel is 'dog friendly', but our room smelt so strongly of wet / dirty dogs, that it was impossible for us to stay in the room that we had been allocated. I was not happy to tolerate the dirty smell and my partner started suffering from and allergic reaction.
The receptionist was very nice, and also apologetic, but there were no more rooms available, so we had to leave and find alternative accommodation. The room quite clearly had not been cleaned well enough!
We had paid up front for the room through Hotels.com, so the receptionist stated that we could not have a refund! We ended up booking another hotel through Hotels.com, so paid twice for our room!
