Excellent hotel in a quaint part of alcudia suites to families and couples. About 10mins taxi ride to old part (no more than 10 euros ever). Hotel staff were excellent, upgraded room to a big suite. Amenities lacked but for the price it didn’t bother me on a short trip. Good value and would recommend.

Perfect location for a nice wuiet break. Staff polite friendly and very helpful. Only big downside was transfer! 2 hrs from airport snd had only dropped 3 weary passengers! Transfer was longer than flight! Got a taxi back!!

The room was huge, with a large balcony over looking the pool, bathroom with walk in shower which was very powerful. We never had the tv on, wifi was a bit sluggish but the staff helped remedy this. Air conditioning was fab ( apart from dust falling from fan, perhaps not been used for a while). Would certainly recomend the SOM FAR

This hotel is amazing! It makes a difference!!, great location! Awesome service! Only 45 rooms but is fantastic!. I checked in with my girl and we had such an amazing time. The service is real 5 stars, from the front desk people, thru the maids and the breakfast attendants. Always with a smile and ready to help you. The hotel is located in a really private area, in a calita down a hill surrounded by the beach and a fantastic restaurant right across the street, 10 min from center. I was really happy with my decision! I will definitely come back to this wonderful boutique hotel!

The room and hotel were modern and clean. Staff attentive and knowledgeable and happy to assist in any way. Pool was clean and sun beds always available. The roof terrace was a delightful sanctuary with beautiful views. €10 deposit for a towel that you could exchange for clean and dry whenever you needed was a great way of saving space in the suitcase. Breakfast was a continental buffet style and always fresh. If I stayed again, I wouldn’t bother with the half board option. Two choices offered for each course, but not really to my liking, but adequate. More choice required in my opinion.

room size is great, but the black mold growing on the ceiling in the corner under the upstairs bath is a bit worrisome. Also, WIFI didn't work or very weak despite asking for and plugging in a booster in the room. Safe did not work, even after 20 minutes working on it. Second TV comes on by itself in the middle of the night. TV remote doesn't work.. maybe needs new battery. We asked for and paid for sea view... also got directly over the convenience store below and its umbrellas and rusted shelving, and hedge of tall trees. Pool and pool deck area is great. DO NOT buy half board their food sucks after breakfast... only 2 choices and if you don't like... TOUGH.. will not cook any thing else on the menu. BTW, this purchase adds to my suspicion that if you buy your room through a discounter, the hotel gives you their worst rooms.

As for the facts that comments, I say that I regret that we have not met their expectations, let me tell you that if you had put in our knowledge the problems described could have solved the vast majority of them, as there are others, such as For example, the pine forest that we have in front of the hotel, which is located in a protected environmental space, is state owned and therefore we can not take any action on it. Finally, I must say that our dinner service is a service that is distinguished from other establishments, as it is a service that is made at a table, it is not composed of free buffet. Also, if the dishes are not to your liking we also have our a la carte menu, which for guests who have MP has up to 40% discount, since we like to give an added value to you. Thank you very much for your comments, and I hope to have the opportunity to greet you on a next occasion. a cordial greeting

Smallish Hotel with Charm
The view is beautiful and natural. There is a beach with excellent trees bent at a 45 degree angle from the wind. The hotel is very clean and has an excellent layout. The room feels very spacious. The restaurant downstairs was good for a breakfast buffet with typical Mallorcan options. The dinner was good also. The location is in a residential area away from most tourists and only 15 minutes from the walled town of Alcudia. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The drawbacks are sometimes motorcycles raced down the road at night and woke me up. Also, the English speaking television stations are few.

Beautiful hidden gem right on the Mediteranean. Perfect walking distance away from the other hotel crowd. Service was impeccable. Just email any specific needs a few days in advance and they will fully accommodate. For instance, they paid full attention to my daughter's celiac needs.

Nice quiet hotel away from the resort of Alcudia
Nice hotel, modern, clean and a nice swimming pool (which we sadly didn't have time to use). We had a huge room wiht a balcony, great powerful shower and fridge which was very useful. Staff low English level and crazy slow breakfast service, but overall very happy with the stay. Top tip: they have beach towels for you to borrow so you don't need to pack yours! It's in a very quiet village with one restaurant that was OK but a bit expensive, but super close to Alcudia and bigger towns if you want something more resorty/ sandy beaches -the beaches here are rocky but excellent for snorkelling, and you can swim across to the lighthouse island easily.

A stylish and special hotel
An excellent hotel, and for me a very lucky find. We had a warm welcome, well organized and efficient check in. The hotel is very stylish, in a good position. The room was clean and modern. I was able to use the swimming facility just across the road from my room. Ideal position for ferries which is one reason I chose this location. Would love to come back for a longer stay. Finally if I had to criticize anything it would be the late night noise coming from the kitchen staff below, after 11pm it would be nice to enjoy some quiet.

A lovely hotel in a peaceful tucked away area. Worth paying extra for a suite with a sea view. Half board dinner was a bit hit and miss but there is a fab restaurant across the road if you fancy a change. I’d definitely stay again

Lovely spot on a lovely island!
New building and very nice staff. The rooms are spacious and the building is across the street from the water. Very beautiful with a park and easy access to walking paths and a child's park. Pretty chill area, but restaurants are just a few minutes drive away or a longer walk. Breakfast was delicious and included. Rooms were very spacious and ours had two verandas with ocean views. Great value for money. I would happily stay here again.

6 days of sun and relaxation
My wife and I were looking for a queit place away from the crowds, where we could go swimming and take short sightseeing excursions. This was perfect! We had the swimming hole all to ourselves. Granted, it was not a sandy beach, but still had easy access into the water and beautiful scenery. The hotel had live entertainment 3 nights we were there, each time a solo guitarist, one playing Spanish classics and the other English hits. The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars was because the bathroom with ist glass door, doesn't provide the most privacy, and the bed was a Little too firm for me. But we slept well. And we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony drinking wine, listening to the Music below, and watching the water in the distance. I enjoyed working out on the roof top terrace at sunrise with a stunning view of the lighthouse and bay! The town of Alcudia is just 5 minutes by car as is the Port d'Alcudia which has sandy beaches and where I rented a Windsurfer and bought a couple nice hats. This was our first time in Majorca, but we were told that this year there were more tourists than usual, because those who would have gone to Turkey came to Majorca. We took 3 very interesting trips. The first was to Cap de Formentor, a stunning drive up the mountain and out to the lighthouse with lots of Picture oportunities and lookouts along the way. St Viktoria is a short hike to another gougious 360 degree view, and to Polencia and Ilca Monestary in the moutains.

The Perfect Place for Rest & Relaxation
As I stepped into the Reception area of the Hotel Som Far, I was not disappointed. This small boutique hotel in Alcanada just oozed tranquility. As we were being checked in, Francisca informed us that the hotel had upgraded us to a Junior Suite as our original room was not ready. Francisca was extremely friendly, very professional and provided us with all the information we needed for our 10 night stay. The chilled glass of sparkling wine offered on the terrace as a welcome drink was a great start to a wonderful holiday. The hotel is chic and modern in its simple white and blue design. The room is large and airy and the rain shower in the bathroom is just gorgeous! The room has everything you could need including a fridge, safety deposit box (payable) and air conditioning. The standard breakfast at the Som Far is continental, served on a lovely 3 tier stand and consists to sweet and savoury options, plus fresh fruit. Hot options such as omelettes, pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage are also available at no extra cost. The all day snack menu is great and there is also an evening a la carte menu which includes Mallorcan traditional dishes which are delicious. All the staff at the Som Far are very friendly and efficient. A special mention must be made to Belle (Elizabeth). She was always smiling and simply lit up the restaurant whenever she was there. Nothing was too much trouble for her or any of the staff - keep up the good work guys - we will be back soon xx

this is a nice hotel in a small hamlet of Mallorca. It has a nice partial view of the sea. The staff was fabulous. I was sick and they made me chicken soup for every meal! Our only complaint was that our room was above the bar and at the end of a street where buses turned around so it was noisy. This was particular to our room.

Super séjour, BRAVO à l'equipe !
Hotel rénové récemment avec encore quelques ajustements à apporter. Voiture recommandée mais bus au pied de l'hotel car un peu éloigné de la ville et du port d'Alcúdia. Mais calme et environnement sympathique notamment sentier du littoral au pied de l'hotel, magnifique. Equipe dans son ensemble extrêmement à l'ecoute, chaleureuse et professionnelle. Tres satisfait de notre séjour. Petit déjeuner avec des produits de qualité et variés et à disposition. Vraiment super. Ainsi que les snacks.

Skønt hotel. Vi boede med havudsigt og det var en helt fantastisk en af slagsen. Utrolig smuk udsigt til havet gennem palmer og pinjetræer. Dejlig terasse med glas gav god udsigt indefra og læ for vind. Dejlig indrettet 1 værelses - eneste minus; der var ingen lys ved udtrækssofaen, kun loftslys. Besværligt for vores datter, som skulle slukke lyset og famle sig frem til sengen (der var heller ikke stik, så mobilen lå til opladning et stykker fra sengen) Skøn morgenmad. God service.

Dit hotel ligt buiten de toeristenzone,het maakt gebruik van 4 sterren maar eigenlijk 2 sterren en dat komt mede door een slecht ontbijt en weinig keus van eten,avond eten buffet 4 bakjes,elke dag uit gaan eten waardeloos,had all inclusive,mensen doe het niet is weg gegooid geld.Bediening doet uiterst zijn best maar kan hier niks aan doen.Uit eindelijk een paar honderd euro extra voor uiteten moeten uitgeven.Ik zou hier nog niet meer willen verblijven al gaven ze het me gratis.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Seasun Far. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Essen war morgens und abends in Buffetform und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Auswahl war gut. Die Zimmer waren sauber und schön eingerichtet. Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, da es uns immer ans Meer gezogen hat. Die Anlage sah jedoch sehr gepflegt und einladend aus. Wir hatten einen schönen und gelungenen Aufenthalt. Danke 🙂

Nos sorprendió que nada más llegar, toda la información que recibimos fue un papel que nos teníamos que leer. El 1r día, al solicitar almohadas más altas (en ese papel ponía que se podían solicitar y nos las traerían a la habitación) nos dijeron que lo anotaban y que al día siguiente nos las traerían, con lo que esa noche tuvimos que dormir incómodos, y no acabo de entender por qué. Hay humedades en la habitación, la papelera está oxidada y la almohada sucia de maquillaje. La limpieza es muy justa, no barren y al ser una zona de playa es indispensable. No reponían el papel higiénico y un día al volver de la playa no teníamos toallas limpias. Además, hay falta de comunicación entre el personal, ya que nos dijeron que había zonas cerradas que no podíamos disfrutar y resulta que no era cierto. Además tardaron en resolver una petición que hicimos 4 días, diciéndonos cada uno, una información diferente.

Entspannter Aufenthalt zu einem fairen Preis
Wir waren insgesamt 4 Nächte im Hotel Seasun Far inkl. Frühstück. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war sauber aber im Gegensatz zu den Bildern etwas weniger chic. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung aber kein Highlight. Der Kaffee hingegen war fantastisch! Der Pool ist klein aber fein. Schade, dass die Sonnenliegen nicht gepflegt waren. Die Sonnensegel sind leider eingerissen und lassen sich nicht mehr gut befestigen. Ebenfalls schade war, dass das Hotel auf Nachfrage auch keine Snacks anbieten konnte. Der gemütliche „Absacker“ am Abend auf der Hotelterrasse war dann schnell getrunken. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Alcudia. Ein Auto/Roller ist unbedingt zu empfehlen (Das Taxi vom Port Alcudia zum Hotel kostet ca. 7-8€). Um das Hotel gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze am Straßenrand. Generell bietet Alcudia und Umgebung viele tolle Erkundungs-Möglichkeiten! Die Stadt Alcudia ist sowohl am Tag als auch in der Nacht sehr schön. Insgesamt haben wir uns die Tage sehr wohl gefühlt…

Schönes, gepflegtes, modernes Hotel mit Wohlfühlausstattung in guter Lauflage zum Meer (direkt vor der Haustür). Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Zudem verfügt es über eine schöne Aussenterrasse für eine gepflegten Sundowner zu fairen Preisen. Der Supermarkt ist gleich nebenan, falls man etwas vergessen hat. Uns hat besonders die ruhige, beschauliche Lage des Ortes Alcanda sehr gefallen. Direkt vor der Haustür gehen schöne Wanderungen los und einige Bars sind in Laufnähe. Trotzdem würden wir einen Leihwagen zu empfehlen, da man durch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sehr eingeschränkt ist. Unser Urlaub war rundum gelungen.
