"Truly enjoyed my stay here. What stood out was how helpful the staff were! We had a delayed flight which resulted in us arriving long after check in period had closed. We called the hotel and communicated our worries. They were more than accommodating and allowed us to check in and left instructions to make it a smooth process. Really appreciated their assistance and the stay as well!"
"Good stay. The hotel was very well located, just a couple minutes from the railway station. And my room had an incredible view across the Sound of Sleat to the Isles of Eigg, Rum and Skye!! However, my top floor room was in a converted attic: while this provided the outstanding vistas, after a warm summer day the room was extremely hot at night with only a small window that opened partially (the roof tiles...
"This was a solid hotel on our way to Isle of Skye. The construction outside wasn't known until after the booking. And while not horrible, they started moving equipment about 45 min before 8am when the work was to start. We knew it would be rustic and it was. No frills but solid hotel. Beds were very hard though."
"We stayed 5 nights at the hotel as part of our Scottish holiday celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary.
We couldn’t fault anything about the hotel. The staff were super attentive and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and the room was lovely. The location was fantastic although the weather put paid to any chance we had of sitting in the grounds.
If you get the opportunity to stay at the Glenfinnan House Hotel then do take it. An absolutely wonderful get away location."
