"Had a lovely few days at the Dom Jose as a solo female visitor. I felt very comfortable sitting in the lounge in the evenings, particularly when there was live music. The breakfasts were great and the bar snacks were great value. I didn't have dinner. I have two small criticisms regarding the room 1 Do people really need that enormous tv? A mirror over the dressing table would be more useful. Also a second chair is needed if there are two in the room. 2 Why is it so difficult to find out the Wifi code? I tried the one that comes up on the tv but of course it didn't work so i ended up going to reception in my pyjamas, only to be told the code was hidden in the key card wallet Finally, I read somewhere online that hotel guests are charged a fee to use the hotel sunbeds on the hotel beach. This is not something i experienced personally as i was there in January, but i really hope it's not true as that would seem a very mean thing to do. Surely guests have paid.for the use of hotel facilities."

"Stayed 2 nights and we liked it. The room is very clean, bed is comfortable except the quilt is a little thicker thus a little too warm for sleep. We tried to adjust the thermostat but it didn’t seem to work. Breakfast is very good. Staff are friendly and professional. Location is very central too. We highly recommend this hotel."

"It’s always exciting and a pleasure staying at W Hotels. What we have noticed however is the least available options for non-Pork eaters at breakfast. We believe there being perhaps options such as chicken/beef sausages as opposed to only Pork..?! The house keeping was fantastic, aside from staff moving one or two of my wife’s items from where she originally left them (Nothing majorly serious 🙂).. With that said, we had a wonderful experience at The W and would most definitely comeback should we ever have the opportunity to visit The Algarve at some point in the near future. Obrigado…. "Great hotel, perfect location to airport. Staff are above excellent. Booked thru Expedia amd my go to for my overnight stay to head home on long flight. Staying here, made last impressions. Definitely recommend this establishment for dedication of staff, cleanliness and easy efficient check in and check out with a smile."
