Happy guests!
We are there for a nigh on our way to the Mahibadhoo island. Somerset Inn is provided free pick us up from airport and drop off which we two girl’s needed since our flight arrival to Male airport at late in the evening. The staffs are friendly and helpful and fully support ours need. Such as late dinner they can order and delivery to ours room even late in the evening. Excellent services Somerset Inn.

Quick Stay
Quick one-night stay in Male. The service at this hotel was top notch, and the accommodations acceptable. This hotel would have been difficult to find without someone to guide to/from, which is perhaps not that unusual for this city.

Great service but too loud
Great customer service, however, it was too loud. You can hear every time people opened doors and closed them. There was also very loud talking until 2 in the morning and I had to call reception so they could stop it. Spent a horrible night because of the loud noise. Besides that, it was a good hotel and great service.

The room was not completely ready when we got in to the room (no water, not enough slippers, electric coffee pot is not working). However, staffs are all kind and helpful.

Service was great!!
It is good 10-15 mins by taxi to Hotel from airport. You will be dropped off 20 meters from hotel because taxi cannot drive down narrow streets to drop you off in front of Hotel. The staff will be waiting to help take you and luggage to Hotel. Room was old with TV and AC not working. Staff was great and breakfast was good. Stayed there one night because arrived late and boat transfers to Maldives we’re not running til the morning.

A perfect place for a stopover; they pick you up and also drop you back at the right place for your resort sea plane ride or local ride. The staff was very friendly. Included breakfast was good, not great but enough to get you started. Overall I highly recommend this place as a stopover when you have one night in Male.

Great boutique hotel for overnight
We spent one night at the Somerset Inn close to the centre of Male. It was a fantastic little boutique hotel. The room was small, but basically what you would expect by European standards. It was nicely decorated, with cupboard and desk space. A good bathroom. The breakfast area was good and breakfast was quite nice. Staff were really friendly and incredibly helpful, organising our transport to and from the airport and giving us some local advice. I'd stay there again without question and it really made for a nice day in Male, which is overlooked by many people.

Simple hotel in Male
I stayed one night before heading out on a boat trip. The airport transfer went well. I was met at arrivals and taken by van to Male. The room was small but adequate with a small bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a scale in the closet. There was AC. This is definitely a budget hotel but the staff were helpful. Breakfast is included and is served in the small lobby with limited seating. The wifi was good. The next day a van took me to the ferry for the airport. The Somerset Inn is fine for a short stay.

Room is ok, bathroom is small. Breakfast was also ok with more than basic choices, some rice, bread, fruits, cereal and coffee. Staff was ok not very helpful when calling to arrange airport pick up. Location is the only draw back as it is very much inside a neighborhood and far way from the ferry terminal. Also there 2 somerset hotels, so make sure the taxi knows the difference, most locals only know the main somerset in the center.

Great for a sleepover on the way to our resort. Exceptionally clean bathroom. I regret that our stay ended up only being 5 hours due to having to catch our seaplane.

Staff very helpful. Checked and sorted out arrangements with our next hotel. Rooms are tiny but comfortable and modern. Cars can’t drive all the way to the hotel so don’t be surprised when you pull up in a tiny alleyway!

Such an easy, clean and convenient place to stay. The complimentary airport shuttle took time but they were there to meet us immediately upon arrival and fully organized our transfer with an unrelated island resort the next day. The service was very professional and friendly. Would stay again.

Almost perfect stay
Looks this place is just like most of the reviews say - great. The staff really makes you feel they happy you there and try to do everything to keep customers happy. The airport pick up is great and it's also free. Internet works well and the room is ok, its not that small as I worried when reading the reviews. They have great expresso machine in the room, never seen before at this price point and the breakfast leaves nothing to be wished. I just cannot really find anything to complain about this place.

The desk personnel were so friendly and helpful that other small issues didn't seem to matter much. I was surprised that there was an additional $13 per nite for 1 additional adult, but they did have laundry services! Their breakfast was consistently good and sustained us throughout the day. Also bottled water was provided free of charge in the room. The rooms were very small, but so was the island. I'd go there again.

Staff are all five stars
The staff are so nice and helpful. They will wait for you outside the arrival area and arrange the transport to the hotel(5 mins ferry and 7mins taxi). Also the way back to the airport. The breakfast is nice too.

Staff was Friendly. They provided breakfast in the go which was nice. Condition of Hotel was okay. It was just a layover before transfer to island so didn’t expect much. You pay for what you get. The Transfer from Airport to Hotel was disappointing. The Car they send did not have enough room. Try to get us a Taxi but people refused to take us. Once we got on the Driver took us on a ride. What could have been a 5 min car ride took around 30 min waiting for cab and the ride.

Wonderful choice. exceptional service
Fantastic place to stay Picked us up from airport for free transfer. Rooms are small but so nice and comfortable. Bed divine. Gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Supermarket and pharmacy close by. Delicious well catered hot and cold breakfast and dropped us to the ferry via taxi all paid for. Thankyou so much for the great service I come to the Maldives a bit so will most definately stay here again before heading to any island or resort.

Only good for overnight transit
We stay here overnight for our transit to the resort. Staff is very nice and helpful, the room is small , the bed is not very comfortable. Bathroom is old and ran down, and no shower curtain, therefore it is very wet and slippery in the bathroom. The staff is very nice and helpful, The location is not convenient. it is good for overnight transit.

The staff of the Somerset Inn was very friendly and the room I had was clean. There was a lot of noise coming in the bathroom window and from the hallway that could not be ignored, however. The area is okay, good if you want to wander around tiny crowded streets and go shopping. There was a mishap with a speedboat to another island, where the staff member insisted I was to be on one boat, when I repeated several times (and showed a printed confirmation) that I needed a different boat. This caused me to miss the boat (literally!) to my final vacation destination.
