Novina was just ok...at best. The staff was very friendly and tried hard, but many of them were inefficient or incompetent at their jobs. For example, it took me nearly 20 minutes to check out (I was the only one checking out), and they finally told me my bill was $9. I had not pre-paid, and had I not corrected them, the unfortunate staff member would have had to pay my bill out of his wages. After this was corrected, they couldn't get the credit card machine to work. So I had to pay cash (luckily I had enough on me). Then they wanted bills that were more crisp/new...a real mess. The room, lobby, and buffet are not nearly as nice as they look in the photos (I posted pictures for comparison). All of the flowers, floor coverings, and nice decorations are not present; it's quite sterile. But clean. The room was very small and my safe did not work, but the air conditioning worked well, as did the TV. And again, it was clean. This is a two+ star property. The one thing that worked very well was the greeting upon my arrival at the airport and the transfer back to the airport at my departure. I will give them credit for that.
