"My husband and I stayed for 2 nights on a recent motorcycle trip. The room was clean and comfortable. There are restaurants and a coffee shop a short walk from the room and being on the harbour was lovely. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning at a nice bench looking at the water and the boats. Our only complaint would be that the room was quite warm and there wasn’t air conditioning or windows to open. There was a fan which helped. Overall it was a great spot and we would stay again."

"Checked in late after a long ferry, the front desk clerk had our paperwork and room key ready so it was fast and easy. The beds are hard and could use updating but the room was clean and quiet. We were given vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant next door and the food was delicious. I highly recommend"

Nimpkish Hotel

8/10 Good
"This hotel is on a small island off of Vancouver island so you have to take a ferry. We were surprised to learn this after booking. Whoops! Alert Bay is very small and has limited amenities but Nimpkish is pretty great with great views and a nice restaurant with great food and views. The room was comfortable and tastefully appointed. We would stay again and hope others who are staying realize it’s a ferry ride to get there."
