Everything was as expected, this is not some major hotel chain, but a quaint little motel. It’s clean and friendly staff. Steps from the harbor, we could take a walk every night!

Big clean room with separate sofa area. Outside table with view. Quick check in is next door at the pub. At the waterfront next to a Marina. Outside is a little rustic but very good value for the price . Very comfortable bed and pillows

Location is great. Right on the harbor. Easy walk to restaurants, brew pub, coffee shop. We had two rooms that ended up in two different buildings. Both rooms are basic but priced right. Room 9 was fine. Room 2 had a slight (smoke ?) smell. The lady that checked us in was friendly. Check in only took a minute. Fun town too.

The room was much better than what we expected from the outside appearance. The couch was very worn and uncomfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. With no windows that could open we had to keep the door open with the floor fans running to provide some air flow. As the day was cool, that was okay but it would be uncomfortable on the occasional hot summer day. There were some excellent places to eat close by. We enjoyed the Devil's Bath Brewing for dinner - excellent pizzas and beers.

Very easy check-in and we had a pet so that was good. Just had some housekeeping issues with the fact that the fridge and coffee maker, etc. have not been cleaned. Tasos was very helpful and responded immediately to phone calls.

I stayed on the Sportsman side (Gus’s Pub runs both that and the McNeill Inn to my knowledge) and I had absolutely zero issues, staff was very kind and helpful, room was very clean, spacious enough for two at least, my only gripe was no A/C, but as expected with a motel of that age, BUT there IS a fan in the room, they are located in the closet and sadly we didn’t see it till our last night, but I will say it helps a LOT on those hot days/nights, location is perfect, right by the marina with a gorgeous view, and a very short walk from Gus’s Pub, the coffee shop, and the brewery/restaurant, and would 100% stay there again the next time we take a trip to the area

We stayed 6 nights. Housekeeping never came. We called every day when we returned to our room. They would bring towels and clean coffee cups (only when called). Room was never cleaned. Bed never made, etc. they say amenities on their website. Good luck receiving soap, shampoo, tolit paper etc. everything is run from the bar. The staff at the bar were very polite and friendly. Overall, we would not recommend.

The staff was great! But the rooms itself not so much. Mold in the tub (my husband got sick from it). Hair on the bed. The bedsheets seem to have not been changed. Had to ask for fresh linens. You have to play with the water to make sure you have good water pressure. Sometimes there is no water come out of the shower but mostly comes out on the tap. Overall, it was a let down. Especially with the mold issue. It would have been nice if we moved to a different rooms like we asked but they didn’t have another available room.

The name is different from what is posted on building. The phone number belongs to the bar next door. Otherwise, very comfortable bed. Clean sheets and towels. Yes, the best chai is next door. Thanks for the suggestion.

The check in process was easy, the staff were helpful and efficient. The room was not what we expected at all, not like the pictures. The carpet was extremely dirty, there were dirty socks under one of the bed that did not belong to us. There were stains on two of the pillows and one of the sheets. The bathroom was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned. Very disappointed in the cleanliness, I'm not usually too picky about that but this was the worst I've seen.

There was nothing particularly special but the staff was efficient when we checked in and my room was bigger than I thought with well-stocked amenities like soap ,conditioner shampoo, hair dryer, lots of towels. Lots of pillows, a big bed ,small fridge, microwave and coffee making appliances that I didn't use. The suite was bigger and more modern than I had been anticipating seems like they had just done a renovation or something.

My room was small, the furniture was scarred, there were no face cloths in the bathroom, the toilet was wobbly, the windows dirty. My friend stayed at the same place at the same time and had a much better room, for only ten dollars more. Her experience was better than mine, but the place is well located on the harbourfront, next to a coffee shop, and the check in girl was nice.

Bed very comfortable, good view and location. Black mould in the windows, hot and stuffy, had to ask for toilet paper and soap, crack and hole in the bathroom sink which didn’t drain, shower just shut off mid shower, coffee pot didn’t work, housekeeping took all the plastic glasses away and didn’t replace. Check in was confusing, done at a bar by a new server who didn’t know anything. We were booked into the Sportsman Inn, ended up in the McNeill Inn, old building in need of updating. All got blamed on Expedia. Would only stay in sportsman inn next time, a newer building
