The staff was courteous and friendly. The restaurant manager was very helpful with his recommendations. The reception staff was friendly and professional.

Loved the lake and surrounding area. It was so serene. Breakfast was included and was amazing. It was cozy detached cabana type of room. Friendly staff.

Nice clean quiet hotel with beautiful views of nature and beachside pool and clean private beach and small gym. The rooms (villas) are big specious and clean with many toiletries and bath towels and coffee and tea etc. there is plenty of walking space within the hotel to enjoy a nature trail type walk with surrounding trees. Also the buffet breakfast and dinner is reasonable with good selection of food on offer. Finally the staff are really helpful and friendly and always there to help. Had a great stay and made my holiday to SL enjoyable with typical Sri Lankan hospitality.

The team preparing our meals was attentive and clearly took pride in their work, creating an exceptional Sri Lankan breakfast that showcased local flavors beautifully. We also enjoyed the dinner option, which was well-prepared and satisfying. Every request we had was met with a smile and genuine willingness to help. Our room was spacious, clean, and had breathtaking views overlooking Kandy — a perfect spot to unwind. The addition of a private hot tub was an unexpected luxury that added to the relaxing atmosphere. The lush gardens surrounding the property made the entire place feel peaceful and inviting. It was the ideal setting to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. We would absolutely recommend Theva Residency to anyone visiting Kandy. It’s a wonderful blend of warm hospitality, modern comfort, and natural serenity.
