"We Absolutely Loved this Hotel. It's beautifully done with breathtaking views. The staff was wonderful. Brandon went out of his way to make us a last-minute dinner reservation on the beach at Uma's when we arrived later than we had expected. We definitely recommend this hotel for couples looking for a romantic private retreat. We only wish that they offered food and had a bar so you could just enjoy the property without leaving. We will definitely stay again. "

"This hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay in Montezuma. The breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely friendly. We even got an upgrade from a regular room to a balcony and they let us check in a few hours early because the room was ready. Hotel was clean and quiet. We saw a ton of wildlife right outside of our room… monkeys, iguanas, squirrels and a ton of unique birds. "The grounds of the resort are well kept and quite nice. The rooms are pretty worn out and not very well cleaned.
The beach is great and the pools are nice.
The food was pretty good with lots of options.
Some of the staff were awesome, like a handful of them. However most of the staff, we found to be very unfriendly.
Unlikely to return, mostly because the vibe didn’t feel overly welcoming. The rooms were not great but we didn’t mind as we spent almost no time in the rooms. "
