"I do not recommend to stay in this hotel if... 1). you cannot speak basic Japanese. The staff cannot speak basic English and they were not even trying to use any translator device to communicate with foreign guests. I had to use limited Japanese to communicate with the staff. 2). you cannot tolerate heat nor noise. I checked in 2 days ago. This is already April which is spring season, but the hotel still had not offered cool function of air conditioning. How stubborn the hotel management is....

"The hotel has been recently rebranded and is undergoing extensive renovations. The bits they've finished, like the rooms and the dining room, are new and shiny. The room itself was comfortable. It's close to the town, which has good izakaya and other options if you're not on a meal plan. There is also a Lawson close-by. "really good facility, close to the water front which i love and in between several areas of interest that you can walk to. The showers and baths were an added bonus as we didnt know that it would include the hot bath, really good to come back to that after a long day. Staff was super friendly and there was a music venue right next door, although we had other things we wanted to do so we weren't able to go.
