"Really enjoyed our stay here! Room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Onsite staff are very friendly and accommodating with needs. They set up shuttles to get us to and from Tropea beach and main square on multiple occasions which made travelling stress free. The onsite restaurants food was delicious so we ate all our dinners there. Overall, the hotel offers everything you would need. We had an exceptional stay and will definitely choose to stay here again should we wind up back in the area in the future. "

"Not a 4-star hotel by any means. We needed to find a place for two nights passing thru and thought this would be a good option. We have stayed in 2-star places better than this."

"Reception staff are amazing and responsive to client's needs. I needed a particular item and the receptionist sourced it and bought it to my room. I have stayed here before because of it's convenient location to the airport and train station and will continue to do so in future"

"3rd floor. No elevator. A/c was old . Cover was hanging off. Shower was small. Had a plastic mat , that was dirty. Had a hard tv with the tv. Receptionist said she was going to fix a/c & tv never did. Also asked to change room to lower floor. Her response was no, because we booked an economy room with Expedia. And we couldn’t lock door. We checked out a day earlier. 6 flights of stairs."

"The property itself is gorgeous. The only downsides are 1. food on resort is a bit of a miss (not enough simple, local dishes in favor of fancy over-the-top dishes ) although breakfast was lovely and 2 you have to have a car to get to Tropea as the resort is isolated and there is not much to do in terms of activities or entertainment. If the weather is nice, you are in for a treat because their beach staff is impeccable and their grounds are breathtaking."

"Popilia was an incredible place to stay. Eveything about the resort is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and was always very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately kept. The grounds are also meticulously maintianed. The pools is huge and makes you feel like you are in the Caribbean. The restaurant is also very good. If i had to give one criticism it would be to have a wider selection of food options for lunch or dinner. Otherwise 10 out of 10!!"
