Amazing property and amenities, the staff were lovely too. The food quality could be slightly better, other hotels in the area of similar price range had better restaurants but other than that the hotel was still amazing, very tranquil and calm place and the layout makes it feel more like a hideaway or sanctuary than just a hotel. And the spa was great too, both the team and the quality of the treatments.

Good breakfast, bed vibes and cleaning
The resort is new. Reception is open air place and there are not enough fans, so it turned to be sweaty check in, this should be fixed. We got our room, pool room, nice room, with little pool, but, room was full of flies. When i opened the shower doors, i understiod why, the shower is open to the pool area, meaning this is the place where we need to take a shower, in the open air, this was a big bummer, and i will explain why, in front of our room, there was another room, and from the second floor, it was easy to look on us getting shower, in addition, in case of rain, you get shower with rain and wind.., on top of that, this means that mosquitos, flies, and other bugs can easily get inside the room. I suggest to have a windows which can close the shower and whoever wants to take a shower out side, can open the window. The pool was dirty. The houskeeeping didnt clean the shower and toilet. The resort missing vibes, i dont know how to explian it, but it felt sad or forsake at the evening. Its quite big resort, and you dont see any employees in the way to the restaurant over the beach. At the checkout, it simmed like there was not enough reception employees. The resort is remote, but in 5 minutes car drive, you can reach to turtle village, which is nice place to eat and shop. I would expect from the resort to provide complimentary shuttle for this place. Breakfast was very good!

This is a lovely boutique resort that has everything you need for a restful holiday. From the pools to the soft bedding, the selections at breakfast to the gorgeous gardens, it is a respite from the daily grind. Highly recommend. ps: We were told that there are 100 rooms in total, & as the hotel was not full, it was a great experience for us. We do wonder if it would get too crowded if the hotel is at full capacity given the size of the resort.

We expected more for the price The overall stay was OK, the room and facilities were great, we expected more from the staff. We felt like all they were trying to do it get more money out of us.

My stay at Melia was nice, I went on a birthday trip, they are lovely people. The only thing was upon checking in I had a unfriendly worker at the front desk called “nas” or “naus” a male. He was just very unfriendly and quiet rude from the get go which was mentioned to the duty manager that day and she was lovely. Apart from that the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. I had a wonderful time staying here and would stay here again if I do return back.

This resort was beautiful and well thought out. The botanist did a wonderful job. Staff was courteous and responsive. Nothing walking distance but there is restaurants and a small outdoor shopping center ten minutes away. Would recommend but never felt like i had a great meal outilside of a Thai dinner on property.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The lady took care of us during check in. She suggested us to join those daily classes and also helped us to prepare a to go breakfast box so that we could take to our excursion early in the morning. A happy trip and would like to return in the future.

This hotel was top notch. Best hotel for a getaway. Breakfast was undeniably the best. It came with so much options. You can even juice your own fruit juice or order pancakes and different types of eggs through the menu. Rooms were large very clean. My room came with an outdoor bath tub. Definitely felt like a 5 star property w/outstanding service.

Rooms were spacious, clean and had privacy. Breakfast was fresh food and delicious. Staff were amazing from the moment you arrived. Massive shout out to Laya, Chuk and Ae for helping us every step of the way. Activities organised from the hotel were top tier. Spa was stunning with friendly staff. Cannot fault this hotel and highly recommend for families, couples or groups of friends travelling together. Cant wait to go back.

Dining service The staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially the morning staff at breakfast! Helpful and quick to assist. The breakfast food changed daily and there were some good options. In agreement with some of the other reviews, the lunch and dinner could have used more seasoning and overall better options. STAFF In understanding that the resort recently opened and majority of the workers are new to working in hospitality, overall they were amazing at assisting. There were some hiccups but they did not outweigh how nice the staff was. SPA Elle, Sed, & Rat were incredible. I would absolutely recommend to anyone staying at the Melia to check out the spa before leaving. ROOM The room was a sight to see. I was quite a bit nervous booking the resort due to only being able to view the hotel renderings instead of actual pictures, however, due to a past Melia experience in Mexico; I chose to book and trust that the accommodations would be exactly like they appeared in the rendering…amazing! If I were to return, I would definitely look at booking the room with the private pool and daily in-suite massages. POOLS/RESORT GROUNDS The two pools were gorgeous and well maintained. The staff were actively tending to the grounds throughout the day and ensuring that the pools remained clean and free of debris. The staff was polite. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Americans: they do charge for water (drinking and to take care of dental hygiene).

Animations and entertainments are missing. A very calm location.The spa benefits services are excellent. The hotel is not informing in advance that sea swimming during monsoon season is not allowed. The swimming pool 72meters long compensates. Taxi services from hotel to restaurants are rather expensive. Room is very modern and spacious including the balcony. Otherwise we had a good stay.

Bad English knowledge of the personnel, lack of milk selection during breakfast. In reality only one restaurant works during the day… Random time of the room service each day, no electric mosquito repellent. No turndown service. Sparrow’s nests in outdoor restaurant, sparrow pooped sitting in outdoor areas noone cares about except you and your shorts. Inexperienced SPA therapists. A lot of room to grow.

We would like to inform that we have already taken action to improve our services, such as improved variety for breakfast, daily turndown service is offered in all rooms, SPA service is highly rated now. With regards of bird nests at the restaurant, be assured it is our main concern as well. We have installed a net to prevent nesting in this area. However, being so close to a natural park, we continue to receive bird visitors nearby. We are committed to continuously improving our processes and services and keep looking for solutions to every challenge presented. We dearly hope this experience does not deter to visit us again in the future.
