Typical rice paddy shack, a common sight when wandering the embankments. Be careful though - don't fall into a rice field and muddy yourself.
Spectacular view of Mai Chau to the left with rice paddies filling the river valley. We took an overnight excursion to a little Tai village outside Mai Chau where we wandered the village and paddies and stayed in a dormitory-style guesthouse (upgraded for tourists with a western-style bathroom). It was a charming evening and fun to see a bit of the countryside.
