"This hotel gets five stars for its views! But its also clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you can, ask for an end room on any floor, ending in a 5...they have the best views. Only drawback, it's a 15 walk into the centre of town and not reccomended at night."

We loved it so much that we decided to try the dinner buffet too, and it was just as delicious. We also enjoyed the spa services and one of the local tours offered by the hotel — both were excellent. "This is an out of the way, rugged and basic property. No pool. But they had a trampoline and a tree swing for the kids. Very quiet. Beautiful views of Lantang region. Note: you need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle with high clearance to get there. The last kilometer or so is unpaved, bumpy, muddy, and narrow. Parking is in a small dirt lot with a gate that is locked at night."
