We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the area feels safe, there are dining options around, close to the airport, close to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, like 30 min walk distance from Madrid Centro, not that bad. The hotel has a classic look, breakfast was also good, different options, the terrace is amazing but we only enjoyed it one night. The only thing I would say is that ladies staff at front desk might be a little rude sometimes, expect for a guy that was always willing to help and going the extra mile. I think his name was Marco is Marcos, something like that. Besides that everything else was good. I would stay at this hotel in another opportunity. They even helped us saving our bag until it was time for our check in. Thank you!

Trip to Madrid
Hotel Sardinero is great as well as a great neighborhood. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are nice. My only complaint are the stairs and that there is no one to help you with your luggage up the steep stairs. Thank you

Noise from the street made it hard to sleep. Frosted glass windows made the room dark and gloomy. Front desk staff indicated that Expedia had not notified them of the VIP perks, but went ahead and provided them after negotiation. The hotel is in a great area. To reach the rooms, you have to go up about 10 steps (3 in front of the hotel; 7 inside); no staff was available to help carrying the luggage during our stay.

Great hotel very well located. We stayed 3 nights and will definitely book again for our next trip to Madrid. The only but I’d mention is that the roof top terrace was closed the two times we tried to access it.

Amazing stay

This is a nice enough hotel, but we were put in a disabled room - lots of space, particularly in the bathroom, but there were no actual useful features in the bathroom. No towel rails or hooks, for example, so if we wanted to be environmentally conscious and hang our towels for use again, we couldn’t . A basin, but no shelves or vanity counter where we could keep our toiletries, just a very small round table with all the hotel bits and pieces on it. We ended up putting their stuff on the floor so we could put our stuff not on the floor. We would recommend the 3 star Petit Palace Santa Barbara over this supposedly 4 star hotel

Nice experience.
Overall a good experience. We booked two rooms for a business trip and it was a really pleasant stay. The rooms are a very good size, the bathrooms generous. Its a very good all round 4* hotel. The bar area was great for 3 of us to hold an impromptu meeting. And the menu of the day was lovely. Only downside is the side of the gym, age of the machines. However they were ok for a quick 30 min workout.

Romantic get away
I requested a corner room….. they gave us one. I asked for extra pillows and we were offered a “pillow menu” to select our preference. The breakfast was ample with various choices to suit all tastes. Scrambled eggs let it down ( overcooked) And felt it was missing an Alpen or muesli/ bran type cereal but otherwise we were happy. Great coffee machine 👍

Clean, centrally located, and the perfect size for us. The staff are helpful and friendly and accommodated a much earlier check in, which was invaluable to two very jet lagged individuals. Thanks!!
