This property is located right next to the opera metro station. It has a various options for shopping and dining well into den tonight. The hostel is located on the fifth floor with the elevator. It might be a bit difficult to find but they have a sign a little higher than the sidewalk so you should not have any problems. The room is just enough for one person with a clean bathroom, comfortable bed and clean towels. it is very quiet during the day and at night. They do not have a secure locker for your luggage, but you can leave it. Leave it in the common area. The staff doesn’t speak perfect English, but enough for you to communicate easily. Overall, I highly recommend this place to stay and I would most definitely would like to visit it again.

Excellent location and good price
Very reasonably priced stay in centre of Madrid. Very friendly staff and 24 hour reception. Daily housekeeping with shampoo/shower gel and fresh towels. Slightly on the noisy side and can hear other guests in their rooms and can hear front doorbell from the room. Slightly disappointed that you need to pay €1 each time you need to use the room safe.

Wonderful stay!
It was a great stay! Location was wonderful, a few minutes to the Plaza Mayor and Palacio Real. Lots of food places too. Staff was amazing. They even schedule at taxi for me with pick up at 5 am!! Very kind and helpful staff. Loved it! Fully recommended!

I fell down a flight of cement stairs as the had just been washed. I have bad bruising on arnand back.And that affected the rest of my time there.

The hostal itself was good. However, there was construction that began at approximately 9 a.m. each morning during our two night stay, which made it impossible to sleep late.

No hay lobby en la entrada. El hostal esta en el 4to piso. Llegue 11pm y no sabia que hacer y no me explicaronantes, en el lugar hay muchos locales juntos. El aire condicionado no funcionaba y se demoraron en arreglarlo. Es muy simple y sencillo el lugar. Pagar 150 euros por una noche no lo merecen.

Respetando sus comentarios no los podemos compartir. El hostal está en ubicado en la quinta planta con un cartel que lo anuncia. A la entrada figura pegado a la pared el nombre del hostal y el piso. Cuando algo no funciona se debe agradecer que lo arreglen en el momento y no criticar que se tarda en arregrarlo.

Everything I needed and a super location.
Very nice experience. Great value for money. Location is fabulous, only ten minutes from Gran Via. Quiet, clean, good wifi.

This is a very convenient hotel in terms of location. It's very close ( by walking,) to the main Madrid attractions. It's very clean hotel, too. The staff very friendly. They are always willing to help costumers. The security is great 👍!

Highly recommended, the location is PERFECT! The place is cozy and has private bathroom. Every day I will come back and the beds will be made. Felt very safe.

I loved my stay at Hostal Rober! The staff is extremely sweet and very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect whether you walk everywhere or take the conveniently located metro near by.

Fast wifi. Clean and soft bed. Fast checkin. They are located on the 5th floor so it takes a little hunting to find it. You need to buzz in at the street level and once again when you reach the 5th floor.

Still a Good Budget Option in the Central Area
Great central location next to Opera Metro station. Good budget choice. Elevator access. Rooms are clean and compact. Didn't get a balcony this time, but that probably meant it was quieter. One suggestion would be to upgrade the WiFi which was very slow.

Perfect location. Hard/ rough to touch towels
Helpful but the directions to places were not clear. The map was helpful. There could have been a kettle to make coffee. A tiny table would have added a bit more comfort.
