"Really friendly staff and the bar is a great social space. Room was more than big enough, nice and clean and warm. (I travel a lot with work and know the importance of a good shower, and the shower was definitely good!) Location is fantastic being in the old town and just down the road from the castle. Would definitely come back"

"Avoid at all costs Staff are unhelpful and borderline rude. Booked a double room for sole occupancy and was given a twin room. When I protested this was not what was booked I was fobbed off. I asked to speak to the duty manager and waited over 30 minutes before going back to reception. Duty manager was aware I’d asked to speak to them but decided I wasn’t her priority. Fobbed off that the hotel was fully booked and could not change my room and offer no alternative so agreed they would give me a refund and checked out. Went to another hotel. Now radio silence and struggle to get an answer from them with regards the refund. This hotel is tired and dated and the room I was given just felt unclean so I wasn’t prepared to stay there. Won’t be going back "

"The property was great. It was a full apartment on the main drag, but surprisingly quiet. The WiFi was strong. The kitchen was fully stocked. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The TV had a lot of channel options. The points of contact were prompt at addressing any concerns. If we could afford it, we'd buy it ourselves."
