"Margaritaville acquired the legacy Tan-Ter-a resort. They gave it a superficial face lift. We have recently booked 2 rooms that were dirty and stunk like animal urine. One room down by the lake didn’t have an exterior door sweep, which means a 3/4 inch gap to the outside where snakes, mice, etc. ..."

"First room had dead nats all over both beds, 2nd room had some. Also room keys didn't work on 2nd room the next morning and we called from our cellphone and they told us to bring them up to office. Our cars keys were inside locked room. 3rd day while taking a shower the popcorn ceiling was falling ..."

"This is a great place to stay, staff was great. A little disappointed the restaurant was closed Tuesday and Wednesday but the pool was great and the area of the lake was pretty quiet. The cabin was nice, we will be back."
