"You will not find a better more convenient hotel in Manchester
Staff are consistently excellent and unusually for a hotel it has an excellent bar
Rooms are lovely and "boutique "
Whether business or pleasure you will not be disappointed"
"Staff was very kind and professional, had some issues with the room that were immediately fixed by maintenance. Would highly recommend this hotel while staying in Manchester."
"We always stay at the tribe when we are flying from Manchester, easy to walk to from the train station, the standard of the room is more than acceptable, staff are amazing both at reception and restaurant. Good value for money."
"The rooms here are basic but clean and comfortable so nothing to complain about. The building is aging and the rooms are showing their age but everything was functional and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The best part for me was the food which was really very good with excellent presentation, decent portions and very well prepared. The waiting staff were also very attentive.
Parking here, even when staying at the hotel is £30 per night which is expensive, but understandable being so close to the airport. IMO parking should be part of the room package as a resident though, especially as it's not really a hotel that can be accessed easily by foot or public transport, so in reality it's a bit of a hidden tax.
Other than that, this is a good hotel and works well for an overnight stay. For longer stays I would look for somewhere with a bit more character."
"Super hotel and the golf course was amazing. Checking in staff were poor on arrival, not very friendly, far more friendly when we left in the morning.
When we went for a swim as a family it wasn’t clear as to how to enter the barrier with your hotel card. A lady behind the counter was quite rude about it and literally laughed at us. Kind of ruined the experience for us.
I’ve never written a review before and main reason for writing is due to the rude staff on arrival. Certainly not all the staff just one or two most are friendly.
Anyway great place, very clean and good amenities. Nice breakfast in the morning and warm and friendly staff next morning.
Beds are very hard and uncomfortable but fairly standard I guess. Rooms nice and lovely bathroom.
Golf course is amazing having recently gone under a transformation.
Like I say all in all very nice stay just ruined by evening staff at reception. "
