It was perfect for us, the owner Dino was a super host and upgraded us to a better room with a terrace, had fresh new baked croissants every morning and also made us cappuchini. "Beautiful location. The Trullos are unique. Sleeping under a dome is very relaxing. The bedrooms could do with more shelving. Had to leave clothes in luggages on the floor. In the off season, each individual Trullo pool is unheated. I was still able to swim my laps in 20 degrees water. Quite invigorating! Others might not venture at this temperature. "Poor breakfast. SCrumble eggs looked terrible. No plants outside. The paths were covered with gravel and there was no vegetation along them. The paths were not well maintained or clean. The bathroom amenities were very limited: there was no body lotion, no tissues, and the toilet paper was of poor quality"

"This is a beautiful old villa set in acres of olive trees. One couldn't ask for a more tranquil setting. The hotel is brand new and is showing signs of some work to be done. The roads are pretty rough and could use some better maintenance. This is important expecially at night when driving in and out can be a bit sketchy. We stayed in the Trulla house which is a charming traditional house away a bit from the main property. Watch your head on the low stone doorways! Overall, in a year or so, once they work out the kinks this will be a wonderful property. The surrounding area is lovely as well and there are two one-star Michelin restaurants a few kilometers in either direction."

"Not a 4-star hotel, more like an apartment amongst other residential flats. Old, mouldy and terrible venue. Difficult to get to when you park the car and no one to help with bags, so you have to be prepared to climb stairs. Noisy neighbourhood, boiler makes clicking sounds and the aircon goes off and on the whole time. Forget about getting any rest here."
