"Too many high hidden fees for coming across as a Hotel. The director was very kind and polite. The 2 bedrooms villa was poorly designed. We learnt that the resort has been recently taken over by another owner. With did not have an unpleasant stay but I cannot accept fees that sum up to the cost of an extra night."

Giardino dei Trulli Tenute was a perfect place for us after a long day of going around Matera, Alberobello and Bari Vecchia. The service is excellent and you’re just a blocks away from the sea and the train station, Couple that with the amazing rooftop breakfast and the fact that if you really wanted to, you could actually walk to the airport, (I have) and you’ve got all the bases covered! "A Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful experience at the Nicolaus Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and well taken care of. The free shuttle from the airport was a huge plus and made our arrival stress-free. The room was spacious enough for our family, which was a pleasant surprise, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – we all slept so well. Even the little things were thoughtfully done – we absolutely loved the soap! Now, the breakfast… hands down the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. There were so many choices, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and local specialties – something for everyone, and everything was delicious. We also appreciated that there were plenty of good food options just a short walk up the road, which made dining out super convenient. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend!"

"We were not staying in the hotel but at the apartments they have in a building a block or so away. Apartment was excellent - modern, super clean, huge and very comfortable. But, what really made this a great experience was the front desk staff who were professional, has a great sense of humour and went out of their way to be helpful. "
