"Recently stayed in Sep 2026. The hotel has undergone a huge refurbishment yet still feels a little creaky and old. Credit has to be given to the staff, everyone is so friendly and helpful. But as mentioned, the maintenance and facilities management of this hotel could be greatly improved. Cons: hotel room feels a bit old and dusty. Service can be a little slow. The resort is pretty big and we used the buggies a lot. Buggies are on call, not a hop on/off service which means sometimes you have to wait up to 10 minutes for the buggy to reach you (you can walk within 5 to the main lobby) Breakfast was okay, omelettes were great but the variety was not much. Pros: resort is absolutely beautiful. Location is perfectly beachfront situated. Breakfast in pelangi grill comes with some insane views (but the breakfast here is smaller than the main restaurant). Walking to pantai cenang is about 10 minutes from here. The pool is amazing, clean and delightfully warm. The resort itself wasn’t too busy and the main areas are kept very clean and zen. Welcome drinks were refreshing and lovely."

"Our family of 3 had a wonderful time . Staff deserve top marks for being professional, always friendly, cheerful and helpful. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed the balcony with the seaview. The beach was very clean and we enjoyed watching the stars at night. We spent one whole day relaxing at the hotel , visiting the spa and the gym."

"Wow! What a gorgeous resort. I have never stayed anywhere quite like here. The heritage buildings are absolutely gorgeous and are all original. The way they have renovated these but kept the original feel is lovely. When we arrived the room wasn’t quite like the photo, I think an issue with Hotels.com advert - honestly we thought we had a whole cabin to ourselves but they are rooms within the cabins / buildings. The staff were fantastic and quickly moved us into the room we were expecting. The room had a cosy living room with TV, a nice bedroom and decent bathroom with a cool wooden bath tub. Be warned tho - they are quite rustic but it’s all a part of the lovely charm this hotel offers. One things we loved about this hotel was the pool. Again I’ve not been in one quite like it - it was all made with stone (I think) rather than tiles and looks right onto a gorgeous spa building - so cool! The breakfast and food options were also great and reasonably priced (breakfast was included of course). The location is very close to the airport, and to get around the island my husband and I hired a car which I would highly recommend, just made things so much easier. I would certainly recommend this hotel, walking around looking at all the different buildings was great, and thanks to all the welcoming and helpful staff."

"A great place to spend time, a good swimming pool, and a very good outdoor BBQ area on the beach. The staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything you need. Subra I asked twice how to buy charcoal and sugar , and he went and got it himself. This made my stay very comfortable. Thank you, Subra. 👍🌺👍"

"The whole experience was fantastic! The chalets are much more spacious than the pictures and the breakfast is plentiful. The staff are lovely and helpful and it is a great location. We used Grab a lot to get around which was great value for money and the people are really friendly. We did have geckos in the room and squirrels running over the chalets at night but that was all part of the charm."
