Being a business traveler, I work out of my hotel room about 8 hours a day. This is why I always look for a hotel with the largest room possible for my stay.
While this hotel is very nice and was recently renovated, the superior room size in my case was 100% false. 85A I specifically chose this hotel & paid extra for a superior room, as it was advertised as 20sq meters/215sq feet.
When I was provided the key to the room, I opened the door and was surprised to see the room was about 15sq meters.
I approached the man that checked me in and showed him the hotels.com description of the room that showed the room size. He told me had no idea what square meters or square feet were. (Which is rather surprising for someone that works at a hotel... who has the job of checking people in for a room..)
Regardless, I specified that I wanted the size of the room that I paid for and as advertised. He notified me that I had the largest size room. That there was not any bigger rooms and then walked away and dismissed me.
I asked to speak with the manager and after being told to come back in 2 hours, I finally did. The manager told me that some rooms were bigger, some rooms were smaller and unfortunately there were no rooms in the size as advertised.
Want to stay at a hotel that has no issue with providing a smaller room than advertised? Stay here.
