On the strength of those recommendations we decided to try it for ourselves and it turned out to be a wise move. We spent 7 nights at Royal Palace and from there we explored Halong Bay and Sapa. The manager, Mr Jimmi got us a great deal on both of these tours and organised everything for us. He also gave us the best exchange rate on the Vietnamese Dong! The staff were great and made us feel right at home. They were very helpful with advice on where to eat and shop and anything else that we needed during our stay. We look forward to staying there again next year. "
