"We had an excellent stay at the Cromwell's Tap House. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful. The room was small but perfectly adequate with good storage space and a great shower. The bed was comfy and the room and pub itself have real character, being a timber framed building dating back 400 plus years. The location is excellent in the centre of town, but not too noisy. We enjoyed the Sunday lunch and accompanying cask ales very much. We stopped on a Sunday night, so it was very quiet when we arrived back at the pub and we had a good night's sleep. Very good value for money and we would stay again."

"Breakfast was good, if a little busy! The cutlery suffered the usual dishwasher smudges, but that's kind of expected these days. We didn't request a disabled room, but we were very impressed with the disabled facilities - the low level door spyglass, for instance. Total blockout curtains were welcome for a Sunday morning lie in. Reception/bar/restaurant staff were very pleasant, polite and attentive. "

"This was our second stay here after being so impressed the first time; just as we were again! The staff are fabulous. All the time! They are friendly, engaging, informative and nothing is too much trouble. The venue is perfectly positioned with a good car park and easy access to walk into Bridgnorth which is a stunning place. Our room (there were 3 adult women) has a bed each, (essential at our age!) plenty of seating, beautiful bedding and fluffy white towels. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate and spring water for each of us plus a generous supply of biscuits. The venue is clearly very old and the room has obviously been reconfigured over the years so are beams and small steps/slopes in the room. For us this just adds to the charm, but it is not a modern, slick room. It DOES have everything you need for a comfy night sleep. The bathroom is HUGE and very out of proportion but it has a roomy shower that we had no issues with temperature/water pressure. The entire room and bathroom was spotlessly clean, which is paramount in my opinion. I've stayed in fancy, modern venues that are not as thoroughly cleaned as The Falcon clearly is! I would recommend, we have been twice and as such I can post this review based on consistency also. We will be back soon."

"Good value hotel which is upgrading the rooms at the moment. Our room had obviously been recently renovated and was brilliant with everything you would want from a small hotel room. Great shower/ all modern sockets with usb/ good tv with internet connection/ air conditioning which was very good. The bar area really needs some attention with ripped seats and scared walls where old air conditioners have been removed but it does look like work is being done all over the hotel to update and improve all facilities while still being open for business. All in all a solid 8.5 out of 10 for the price."
