Very high standard of service. Simple but high quality rooms with extremely comfortable 5 star standard beds, pillows and sheets. The restaurant is surprisingly good and they cater for gluten intolerances. You can use the beach shuttle from the Hilton across the road to the gorgeous Falesia beach with beach club. As a single traveller I felt very welcome here and liked the quiet pool area. Reception staff are charming and helpful. Very good value and well located hotel.

Hotel was clean, spacious and very well run. Staff were friendly and very helpful at all times, the junior suite was spacious and well appointed. Arriving late and missing the evening meal the staff ensured that a meal was sent to the room just after our arrival including a half bottle of wine and a plate of fresh fruit. Everyday a litre of bottled water was placed in the room at no extra charge. The outdoor pool was very clean and maintained but not heated, it takes a brave soul to swim...

I travelled to Vilamoura with my mother and my three children. We occupied two twin rooms during our four night stay. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It surpassed all of our expectations I love the shower and deep bath tub . The staff were extremely kind, courteous and professional and went the extra mi. The hotel was comfortable, clean and bright. It's main 'attraction' for me was not the waterpark, (which is included in the price and is excellent), but it's staff. They rescued us by sending my daughter's mobile phone in a taxi, to the airport when we realised two hours before departure that she had unfortunately left it in the room! Most enjoyable stay with friendly staff, well appointed apartment for the price and great swimming pool with it's own bar, delightful cocktail barman, Rudi, (check out his Sangria!) and poolside dining facilities. Amazing resort with even better staff, made me and my wife feel extremely well looked after. Receptionist able to deal with any requests and always with a smile no problem to big or small for the VDL staff. The resort it's self is beautiful with only a short walk to the beach where an abundance of fabulous restaurants and the resorts pool facilities. We booked the hotel as it was on the beach and had nearby restaurants. However, the food in the hotel was so good we soon upgraded to half board. Check in was easy and Ana on the front desk was great and helped us with booking tours as her local knowledge and contacts were invaluable. We chose a room with a sea view as it is a great view of the beach. Overall a great experience and no hesitation in going back.
