"Our stay at this hotel was from Friday, Mar 20 to Sunday, Mar 22---two overnights. We would have rated the hotel higher except for an incident causing considerable inconvenience.
Upon arrival late Friday afternoon we noticed two signs, one was a folding sign, the other was permanently affixed near the elevator door, announcing Saturday Brunch between 9am and 2pm in the Rooftop Grill.
Considering this, we invited in-town guests to join us for breakfast the next morning, Saturday. We met them all in the lobby at 10am. We attempted to take the elevator to the top floor, it didn't go. One of our guests noticed another elevator around the corner where the folding sign was located. We all entered that elevator and took it to the top floor. On exiting, there was no one in sight---no buffet, no hotel guests, no staff, nobody/nothing.
We took the elevator down to the lobby and I spoke with the front desk clerk. She seemed surprised about there every being a brunch, then casually mentioned it must have been for a private party. When I explained sign was permanently affixed near the elevator wall, she apologized and said there was no brunch.
By this time we were all quite hungry and left for brunch elsewhere. This was a VERY disappointing experience. Our day was delayed and guests were out parking fees. Everyone in our party was inconvenienced by the misinformation. "
