I've stayed at the Tommie before and it appears that the hotel is declining. The rooms are very small, the towels were worn and had holes. The hotel is very noisy due to the bar located on the rooftop. It's conveniently located, but its not a top tier hotel.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Rooms are a bit small but I'm sure that is to be expected in these older L.A. hotels. It was very modern and very clean with everything a newer decor. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Staff was very friendly uponn check-in and gave us free drinks at their nice lounge. It was within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and Hollywood Blv.. I highly recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed the hotel's esthetic and Desert 5 Spot. The room was very beautiful. My only complaint would be that there is no coffe machine in the room and coffe is only available from 7am. I had to Uber coffee.
