"We had a few days stay over a long weekend and I can say the staff were excellent and the spa and pool were great and just what we wanted
I would return again "
"1) Checkin details were not provided - I had to contact Hotels.com and wait ±1hr outside in the windy street to get these. Checkin was 4pm but I couldnt get in until 90 mins later.
2) Once inside the building; Entrance hall filthy with full black bags in corner, wall staining, filthy carpets, laundry cages strewn. No-one around at all, felt very unsafe.
3) Once inside the flat, it felt like someone had just left in a rush, but I couldnt be sure until I had gone through the apartment. Spooky....

"Lovely greeting from the host when we arrived. Very central in Stamford with parking.
Good shower although bathroom very small ( room 8)
Comfy beds with crisp clean bedding.
Would stay there again when visiting Stamford."
"Whilst only a one-night stay, everything was perfect. All staff friendly and clearly properly trained. I particularly appreciated the spontaneous mini-tour of this historic building and brief summary of its history"
"Amazing staff and hotel. Used the pool, hot tub and sauna all excellent. Also had breakfast, dinner and used the bar area all amazing too. Would definitely recommend this hotel."
"Even though the hotel is on a main road the room was peaceful and quiet. The hotel is 10 to 15 minutes walk from the city centre. With plenty to do in the evening. "
"The parking area was safe and conveniently located to the hotel - no long walks required
The hotel was beautiful and had lovely landscaped gardens which were well maintained. Staff were very opleasant and helpful and everywhere was clean
It is a historic building with a wow factor but is up to date inside. We had a standard room which was lovely
Dinner was great with plenty of choices and we will definitely stay again pamela"
