10/10 Excellent
"A very good hotel and excellent value for money.
It is only let down slightly by the quality of evening meals served in its restaurant. Note, the breakfasts were excellent but I will definitely return to try it again. "
"Great location and the sea view room we had was lovely with high ceiling and huge windows. The room-darkening curtains kept us cool in spite of the heatwave and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and even our dog was made to feel welcome in the dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon."
"My room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, Karen, the hostess was friendly and extremely helpful, all in all a perfect B&B."
"Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. "
"This beautiful, comfortable Hotel is in the heart of Saxmundham, moments from the station. The Helpful Staff, Callum, was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again."
"The property and the owners were excellent the helped in every way that we needed and went out of there way to make sure that we had everything that we needed and that our comfort was at the top of the list "
