"This didn’t get 4 stars mainly due to the amenities. The “breakfast” is a pretty typical continental and at $22/person was a bit much in our opinion. The sushi bar on top was pretty decent food, but also pretty expensive and it took quite a long time to get any one to serve us as well as get any of our food. We went late at night and they were not packed or busy. Could have been low staffing, but it took a long time for three sushi rolls. The view was phenomenal from the roof though. And the rooms were really clean and for being so tiny, they were spacious where it mattered. We loved being able to control everything in the room with an iPad so we never had to get up to do anything (perfect for our lazy trip). The iPad even had alarms that we could set up that would slowly turn on the lights and open the blinds and play music, which was a phenomenal way to wake up instead of using loud annoying alarms. They even have chromecast on the TVs so we were able to set up our Netflix and watch our shows. Overall we would book again if we came to DC again. It is a very quiet and seemed very safe neighborhood as well. Not walking distance (at least for us) to anything, but like scooters seemed to be parked near by a lot and Ubers were super easy to get. "

"The location is great and the rooms are good but the service was disappointing. The front desk staff came across as snobby and unwelcoming. Simple questions were met with snappy responses, which made it feel like I was being talked down to instead of helped. There was also a basic billing issue that the staff could not handle properly. Breakfast was included in my rate, but it was not reflected correctly on the bill. It took two phone calls and then an in-person conversation to get it fixed, which should not have been necessary. The restaurant service was not much better. The waitstaff seemed to avoid eye contact and were hard to get help from. Overall, the property itself is solid but the attitude of the staff and the difficulty fixing a simple billing issue left a poor impression."

"Stay one night because my layover flight was cancelled. It's close to the airport with airport shuttle service. Breakfast is not included. It's ok for a brief stay"

"Our hotel room had a motel feel- for starters, the “standard” room does not come with the amenities advertised. We only chose the standard rooms to have two beds; the king room advertised the same amenities but I seemed to have had the short end of the stick. We’re lucky to have even had toilet paper. Bathrobes are not available (we asked) and I had to go to the front desk for towels bc they did not pick up the phone at front desk/guest services/room service. The tv was old and the remote barely worked (neither did the built in streaming apps). The limited access to tv is not favorable, especially when traveling with kids. For a two night stay, parking cost $98, which was also not disclosed upon booking. Overall, I found this property extremely overpriced & underwhelming. Having stayed in many different properties in recent years, this was by far my most disappointing stay. The staff was professional when we got to speak to them but they were hard to reach and unapologetic when we couldn’t reach them. While its location is in close proximity to DC’s museums, you’re better off staying somewhere else (there are many options). It simply was not worth it! "
