"10/12/2026-My husband and I stayed the weekend at the Astoria Rivershore Motel this past weekend. We were in town to go crabbing so we were out all day each day and didn't get back to the room until the evening. Amenities were good. We had a coffee maker with coffee (not Keurig-so don't bring pods), fridge, and microwave in the room which all worked well. It had a nice large TV with cable, updated decor and bathroom. Everything was pretty clean. The only places that could have been a bit better as far as cleanliness, was behind the bathroom door was dirt in the corner of the room, the bedspread had what looked like a black grease stain on the edge and it was very dusty/dirty under the chair near the window. (We dropped something and had to look under the chair to find it), and a dime sized black mark on the bathtub wall. None of these things were things I couldn't look past. Being so close to the road, you can hear traffic but that's to be expected. It's a small town so not a lot of traffic during the night but fisherman get up early and start heading to the water in the A.M.. We brought our own white noise machine and that drowned out any traffic noises, so no biggie. All in all, its a decent place to lay your head for the weekend. We would stay again."

"I loved the collection of vinyl records that you can borrow and listen to in your room! This was a very fun feature of the hotel. The hotel is also located in a very convenient part of town and you can easily walk to restaurants and bars."

"No a/c which was ok but maybe better vans in the room for air circulation without having the door open. A box fan would have allowed for this. Staff were amazing. Amenities were great. Looking forward to coming back next year."

"Beautiful hotel! Was the perfect place to stay for rest, relaxation and recharging. The view is everything! Hot tub and sauna was the perfect end to the night. Only thing that I would give a heads up about is that you can hear the cars from the main road, if that bothers you try to get a room that isn’t facing the road."

"Staff was friendly and accommodating. Allowed late checkout if needed due to event departure day. Room was clean. Parking was nearly full due to The Great Columbia Crossing. Will most likely book again next year as well."

"The staff was so accommodating in moving our room to a room adjoining and connecting with my parents room, as we had made separate reservations and it was nice to be able to share a living room when we got there the next day. The rooms were on a top floor so that we had nice views of the ocean from our balconies. The sound of the surf is awesome. The location is right on the dunes leading to the beach and the start of the paved Discovery Trail…the front desk had bikes available for its guests to use for just $5 an hour and we enjoyed traveling down the trail and checking out the statues. Very dog friendly and kite friendly as well! Perfect place for kite-flying! And best bakery down the road at Dylan’s Cottage Bakery…a must."
