Uxbridge North Travel Guide

London

Uxbridge Common A registered common of 5.2 hectares, mainly grassed open space but along the northern edge there is an area of acid grassland and gorse.
Pond on the north west corner of Uxbridge Common After a cold night, there is still ice on the surface around midday in early March.
I'd intended something more creative on a quick trip out to complete my task for the day, but not a single photo looked as good as I had thought it could. I was still planning to take a photo of the closest church to us and was pleasantly surprised how well it came out. I was a little sceptical because only the ground floor is lit by street lights, but thanks to the light pollution of the Uxbridge Road, the entire church was lit up with a fairly short exposure.
Hillingdon Court Park. Trees marked on local map as "Big Clump"

A bed for the night with a good shower. Convenient location. Otherwise no redeeming features. The closest thing to a youth hostel masquerading as a hotel. But what we expected.
