Top Lodge Hill Hotel Reviews

Fireside Inn on Moonstone Beach

8/10 Good

"Great location, just a short distance from the beach! The rooms were clean and spacious, making this a lovely option for couples and a few friends looking for a relaxing coastal getaway. However, the rooms may feel a bit snug for families. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no air conditioning, which is understandable given the coastal location. However, even in October, the room can get warm and stuffy, and the portable fans provided weren’t particularly effective at cooling things down. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay with a convenient location, but I’d recommend keeping the lack of AC in mind when booking, especially during warmer weather stays."

Masterpiece Hotel

8/10 Good

"The room was very spacious, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The sofa wasn’t the greatest but I didn’t seat on it so it didn’t bother me. I had lots of towels, the pressure of the water in the shower was great. All rooms have a balcony so I was able to enjoy my tea sitting on the balcony. The breakfast was very limited but enough to satisfy my hunger. The jacuzzi was very big and indoor which was great. There was no pool. The location was great, I was few blocks from the beach and there were a lot of restaurants near the hotel as well"

The Morgan San Simeon - Cambria by Hearst Castle

10/10 Excellent

"This is my first choice everytime. Its older but kept up nicely. The history of Hearst Castle makes me feel like we are staying at the castle…. My imagination is wild lol. The sunsets in this area are amazing. The hotel is clean and comfortable."

Cavalier Oceanfront Resort

8/10 Good

"The hotel is nice. We expected more. We had a Keurig in our room with powdered creamer had to pay for water, but the big thing was we had ants and when we got up on, we came Friday when we got up on Saturday we stopped in and said to them we have an ant problem they’re coming from the bathroom into the room and into our bed. So they said don’t worry we’ll send them made up and we’ll have them take care of it and we’ll remake it will get you clean sheets so we were out for a while and when we came back, the whole room stunk bug spray. It was so bad we had to open the slider to get Aaron and we thought OK great you know that there’s none on the bed. There was none in that one corner no more in the bathtub however, when I was sitting in one of the chairs, they were still ants. They were on the table. They were on my arm on my leg since we were leaving we didn’t bother to say anything. But we paid $530 a night for this room and I feel like we should get some kind of refund to have that room wasn’t worth $500, yes everyone was kind. Yes, it was clean except for the ants but no not at $500 a night so hopefully you can let me know if I’m gonna get any help."
