"We stayed at Monsoon Grande in Dec 2019. The view of the tea plantation from the room was wonderful, but it's far away from most place without private transportation. The bed was comfortable, and the linen was clean. But the couch and sofa had stay and there was mildew in the shower and there was a very humid smell in the room in general. It's really humid up there and the room didn't seem ventilated enough. There were ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom, but no AC.

FYI do not drink the spring water in the National Park in Munnar. He rode with our taxi driver to hospital, he stayed with me the whole time. I can never thank him so much for his help. I will have to say as tourists, we must always do better. Please tip the waiter staff, to the room cleaners. They work hard and deserve the respect we get as tourists from the Spice Tree.
