We were disappointed that the pictures advertising the Walton Hall Hotel & Spa were quite deceptive. The actual hotel is not at all connected to the historic Walton Hall, and the hotel wing and room that we experienced were very worn and in need of a renovation. The pool and fitness room were listed on Expedia as amenities, but these facilities are not owned by the hotel and require payment for use (after registering our complaint, we were given free passes). On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the wifi worked.

Extremely disappointed - spa and pool closed due to building work, not clearly stated on Expedia. Specifically booked for these facilities after a very long drive. Hotel needed updating and didn’t feel immaculately clean. Front desk was a mess. Paid £144 for one night in a room that felt like a Premier ...

Plenty of parking, a stunning place and location. The food was fantastic and all the staff were brilliant and incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.
