"The staff were really helpful, we'd not realised there was a private car park at the back of the hotel. I'd booked the room with the 500 year old 4 poster bed as a birthday treat, and the room was lovely. Staff were friendly and polite from reception, meal, checkout. Lovely relaxing spa facilities after a day out walking. Good central location for walkers. Accomodation was comfortable and clean. Would give it a higher rating than 3 star. Would definitely recommend to family and friends."
