Lovely location on a working farm. Friendly, approachable staff, nice room with a big comfortable bed. Room was clean apart from a few cobwebs. The breakfast was excellent with a nice range and dare I say it the local black pudding was tastier than what I'd usually get from Bury! Only niggles were, the shower door was a little small for larger people and no hot water from sink tap. Not much thst can be done for the first issue but we mentioned the hot water and it was sorted very quickly. It's a lovely area and was perfect as a base for trips out to Southport and Ormskirk and just up the road from where we had booked a Canal Cruise, which was the main reason for our visit. It's also not far from both Liverpool and Blackpool and the nearby town of Burscough was pleasant and picturesque. We'd definitely come here again

Cosy and comfortable
A nice warm, cosy and comfortable stay. The rooms are spotless and well equipped with Tea, coffee biscuits and drinking water. Breakfast in the tea room was delicious and the staff where excellent. The only slight downside is the noisy floor boards. When anyone walks about in any room you can be waking people up. This would not stop me from staying again though.

Welcoming and comfortable
The farm in a lovely location with country walks to start your day. I was warmly welcomed and shown to my room which was clean and bright with tea and coffee and a nice en suite. The bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful! They had bought in some gluten free granola especially for me, which I had followed by yogurt and a generous sized omelet Le I will definitely go back next time I visit the area.

A reasonably priced short term stay.
We needed a place to stay for two nights while attending a family anniversary and The Farm was ideal. It was reasonably priced, the room suited what we needed, the breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast in the Tea Rooms downstairs was the best breakfast we’ve had in years and the staff were lovely, especially a young lady who greeted us on arrival.

An amazingly warm and helpful check in, beautiful room with a really comfortable bed with pillows you melt into. The breakfast and the ladies serving us were just so lovely, the food was delicious and nothing seemed too much trouble.

Great farm location on the edge of Ormskirk
Clean and comfortable accommodation and perfect for an overnight stay. A true farm experience as woken by the cockerel and birds nesting in the eaves! We went on one of the farm walks which took you to the edge of Martin Mere Wildfowl centre and there was also a canal close by and within walking distance. Breakfast had to be eaten in the room due to Covid restrictions but the quality of the produce was excellent and the staff were friendly.

Pleasant room - comfortable for 2 people but additional children not well catered for. Only 2 bath towels. The additional beds were uncomfortable. I think that the hidden additional cost for the children is unjustified as the only thing really offered was the breakfast. Breakfast was very nice!

Thank you for your feed back, We do recommend that the beds are only suitable for younger children as they are only put in the room as needed and we usually add extra towels & refreshments, which must have been missed on this occasion. What a fantastic place to stay! We booked for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. We were welcomed very warmly straight away and we knew then that we were valued customers. The room was clean, spotless in fact, as everything was gleaming! The lady owner booked us a taxi to take us to the wedding, even though we only mentioned that we needed the name of a local firm... The breakfast in the morning was delicious, all home cooked with quality ingredients. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. If we are ever in the area again, this would be our number one choice of places to stay. Outstanding!

Loved this place - peaceful location & great room
We booked as we were visiting some relatives nearby. It's out of the way & fantastically peaceful. Everything was closed when we arrived, but one of the owners came out & showed us to our room - which was fab, had a great tea/coffee/water/biscuit selection & a gorgeous comfy bed. Veggie breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Will definitely return next time we're in Burscough.

A great stay on the farm
When you first arrive you are treated by very friendly staff who will answer any questions you have about the accommodation or surrounding area. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed and all the things you would find in a hotel Eg hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities. The room is also very clean. In the morning there is a freshly cooked breakfast also catering for vegetarians,cereal and coffee and tea. Overall a great stay and value for money.
